Movie adaptations based off popular books, especially YA novels, are not going away anytime soon. The teen demographic for these films, are always anxious to see their favorite books play out on screen and how they compare to what they envisioned while reading. MOT Creative was honored to work on the recent Lionsgate film adaptation of the YA Novel, Break My Heart 1000 Times, which was appropriately changed for film to, I Still See You, starring the enigmatic, Bella Thorne. The post-apocalyptic thriller comes pre-packaged with a large audience resulting from the best selling novel, and Thorne’s adoring fanbase. Here at MOT Creative, we designed Key Art that spotlights the frigid surroundings and the “remnants” which are the ghosts who walk the earth. The entire town sees the ghosts of the people that lived there prior to the apocalyptic event that wiped out most of the population, and we have them grabbing for the main character, Veronica, played by Thorne. Read on to learn more about how this book was adapted to film!
